Bangkok, Thailand – 24 October 2025 – Chandler Mori Hamada is pleased to announce that it acted as legal adviser to Levanta, Actis’ pan–Southeast Asia renewable energy platform, in connection with the acquisition of a fully operational ground-mounted 91 MW solar portfolio in Thailand from Thai Solar Energy Pcl and Global Power Synergy Pcl. The team also advised Levanta on the financing of the acquisition with a group of lenders in Thailand.
Levanta’s generating capacity now exceeds 155 GWh of renewable electricity annually for the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) under long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
The Chandler Mori Hamada team was led by Joseph Tisuthiwongse, Co-Managing Partner, with support from Tip-apa Limvichai, Partner, and Sooksun Popun-Ngarm, Counsel.

Chandler Mori Hamada previously advised Levanta Renewables (Thailand) Co., Ltd. on a bridge loan financing for the acquisition of a 90% controlling interest in a 139.4 MWp operating solar project portfolio comprising 24 energy projects.
